Instagram's History

⛄Instagram is a social networking site operated by Facebook, Inc., for photo and video sharing. Mike Krieger and Kevin Systrom developed it and released exclusively on iOS in October 2010. In April 2012, a version for Android devices launched. Moreover, a working website interfaced introduced in November 2012, and applications for Windows 10 Mobile and Windows 10 were released on April 2016 and in October 2016. Users can upload photos and videos to the site, edit them with different filters, and organize them with tags. The posts of an account may be shared publicly or with pre-authorized followers. Users can browse content by tags and locations from other users and view trend data. Users can 'heart' images and include their contents on a list to follow other users.
